Cartagena is located on the Colombian north coast of the Caribbean sea. It was founded by Don Pedro de Heredia in year 1533. In Cartagena there is an interesting mixing of cultures from its birth almost 500 years ago, beginning with the Caribbean Indians, Spanish and Africans, all of this frame around one of the most beautiful cities of the world, where visitors are taken care as they should in the happy and descomplecated style of Cartagenians.

The old city of Cartagena is one of the urban centers remaining in the world which it is totally surrounded by walls.

This fortified city constitute one of the top tourist attractions of the city, not only for this engineering military work, but also by the beautiful civil and religious architecture that is in the center of it.
